Jack Dwyer, the owner of CFG Bank, has donated $100,000 to the Capital Gazette Memorial Scholarship Fund set up in memory of those who were killed less than two weeks ago.
Dwyer said in a statement the June 28 shooting at the Capital’s office in Annapolis that left five people dead “hit close to home” because CFG Bank has a branch in the same building at 888 Bestgate Rd.
